Dark circles happen most commonly because of lack of sleep, stress, illness, or allergies. Everyone has suffered from having dark circles under their eyes at some point or another. One of the more natural ways to help get rid of dark circles
is to place caffeinated tea bags on your eyes, the Tannin in the teabags is shown to help with the swelling and darkness. You would do this by take two caffeinated tea bags, chill them for a few hours and place them over the eyes for 15 min - be sure to keep your eyes closed. Also the traditional cucumber trick will help freshen the skin around your eyes and lessen the puffiness. You can do this by taking two chilled cucumber slices and placing them over the eyes.
MOST IMPORTANTLY you should rest and drink as much water as you possibly can.
If you are looking for a quick fix for your dark under eye circles follow these three steps
- If you wear foundation apply the foundation if not continue to step two.
- Look at the color of the the circles under your eyes.
- Find the right concealer. If your dark circles appear to be:
- Blue in color then you should use a more orange toned concealer
- Purple in color then apply a yellow toned concealer
- Red in color then use olive toned concealers
- Darker skin should use more mauve or blue toned concealers
- Apply the concealer only over the dark areas.
