The Legendary pop icon Michael Jackson has passed away unexpectedly. I honestly was shocked, in my mind he is like one of those people that I could never imagine dying… I mean MJ is supposed to live forever.
Anyways I have to say he had such a large influence on so many aspects of my life. His music was around my entire lifetime - I danced, partied, chilled, survived car trips, studied, and jammed to his music. I cannot tell you how many times his songs brought a smile to my face. Also myself and millions of others have busted out Michael’s moves out on the dance floor - not nearly as good but definitely with some soul.
In his lifetime Michael Jackson had a major influence on the beauty industry. His ever changing look and unique style also made him that much more interesting. I believe he also had a little bit of plastic surgery done in his lifetime - which I think is perfectly fine (whatever makes you happy as a person is all that matters.) Today, millions of Americans that get plastic surgery, and I have to say Michael Jackson was one of those stars that was on the forefront of this movement.
Michael also had some great style. Those curly ringlets he had in Thriller, whew those were dreamy. With the white glove, the cocked hats, shiny pants - he was always ahead of the game when it came to fashion and he was always one to make it his own.
Michael also wore makeup. Some of his videos - like thriller for example, had magnificient makeup artists. He was not afraid to do things different which was one of the things that made him so good at entertaining. He was always eye catching and standing out from the crowd. I have to say Michael Jackson’s influences on the world, the beauty industry, and on me will live on forever!
