- Mineral Oil - This emollient can clog your pores if you have oily skin so be aware of it when you are looking for new makeup products
- Aloe Extract - This is definitely a plus to any product, however be aware that usually the amount that is actually in the product is so low that it isnt used to its fullest power.
- Simethicone - Another emollient that serves as a skin softener and also gives moisturizers and lotions that smooth texture.
- Benzophenone-3 - This ingredient is common in sunscreens and beauty products with SPF, as it helps stop the product from breaking down in direct sunlight. Be cautious about the amount of this ingredient in a product as it is known to cause hives on some skin types.
- Fragrance -Free - This does not necessarily mean that there is no fragrance in the makeup. This means that there are no fragrances that we can smell.
- Propylene Glycol - This is an ingredient to help the makeup stay on your skin. This is most commonly found in oil-free moisturizers and powders.
